Beech Creek Property
Background:
The Beech Creek Property is located north of Mount Vernon OR and was purchased by the Tribe in 2016. The property is 2,400 acres, with 6 miles of anadromous fish bearing creek and riparian area, 160 acres of grassland meadows and 2,200 acres of conifer and bunchgrass upland.
On-going projects:
Restoration of the riparian vegetation
Restoration of fish passage and in-stream habitat
Conversion of degraded rangeland to productive wildlife habitat
Improvement of irrigation efficiency and meadow land hay productivity
Development of ranch infrastructure
